About event

Applied Data Science is collocated with SQLDay, the largest conference on databases, data platform, big data, advanced analytics and business intelligence in Central and Eastern Europe.

SQLDay conference is organized already for nine years by enthusiasts and professionals from all over the country operating within the Polish SQL Server User Group (PLSSUG).
Currently, the official organizer of the conference is the Association of Users of SQL Server “PLSSUG”, under which the merits and successful conference supervised by experienced organizers of previous editions of the event.

ADS is the conference for industry experts and academics, who are interested to discuss current and upcoming trends, case studies, innovations and research in the data science field.

Participants will be invited to submit their papers to post-conference special issues of Foundations of Computing and Decision Sciences and Zeszyt Naukowy Wyższej Szkoły Zarządzania i Bankowości w Krakowie.

Submission: abstract (100-150 words in Polish or English).
Final paper: after the conference (submission date will be announced later).
Attendance fee: 600 PLN (net price).

Bank transfers should be initiated free of charge for the recipient – any bank fees incurred will be charged to the respective participant.


Frequently Asked Questions

How to attend?

First, you have to register and submit an abstract (100-150 words in Polish or English) consistent with conference topics until 23rd April 2017.

Notification about qualified submissions will be sent after 30th April 2017.

Finally, upon acceptance you need to pay attendance fee in the amount of 600 PLN (net price), but no later than 2nd May 2017.

ADS is intended both for industry experts and also academics, who are interested to discuss current and upcoming trends, case studies, innovations and research in the data science field.

Yes, you can participate in the regular SQLDay sessions.

If you are interested in participating in SQLDay workshops (paid separately), please contact with the organizers.

The participant who will meet the formal requirements and receive positive reviews will be able to prepare and submit his work to one of the patronizing journals after the conference.
